Tobias Hens, PhD

Founder & CEO

Tobias is a former IT department head and Chief Digital Officer.

In 2025, he founded his consulting business to share insights and expertise with other business champions who want to build their companies sustainably and evolve with impact.

His work experience spans diverse industries, ranging from SMEs and academia to multinational corporations and government organizations on four continents (Europe, Australia, North America, Asia). Tobias's professional engagements cover short-term project management and consulting work as well as multi-year contracts, where he helped teams of up to 200 people navigate business transformation projects.

Tobias is:

  • a certified Digital Change Manager
  • a certified AI Manager
  • a certified Scrum Master (PSM I) & Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I)

Before his career change, Tobias graduated with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in geosciences from one of Germany’s most prestigious Universities. His PhD degree was awarded in 2019 by Monash University (Melbourne, Australia).
